Bradford students take literature lesson into the woods /bradford/news/bradford-students-take-literature-lesson-into-the-woods/ Fri, 22 May 2026 19:38:43 +0000 /bradford/blog/news/bradford-students-take-literature-lesson-into-the-woods/ Bradford High School students in Ms. Sepanski’s American Literature class recently took learning beyond the classroom walls and into the woods surrounding Pike Creek as part of their Transcendentalism unit. Inspired by the works of Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau, students spent time immersed in nature, reflecting on their surroundings and recording observations in their journals. 🌿📚

This meaningful experience encouraged students to slow down, connect with the environment, and discover how literature can come alive beyond the page. ✍
