Every three years, Lance students take the lead in selecting a charitable organization through research, presentations and a schoolwide vote. This year, they chose Make-A-Wish, demonstrating their commitment to helping children facing critical illnesses.

Thanks to the generosity and dedication of our school community, they raised an amazing $46,933 to help grant life-changing wishes for children and their families.

This fundraiser reflects Lance’s emphasis on student leadership, civic engagement, compassion and service to others. Thank you to everyone who donated, participated, volunteered and supported this effort. 💙 🙌 💙

(Thursday, June 4, 2026) — Lance Middle School is hosting a school-wide walk-a-thon benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation today, Thursday, June 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.Ìý²¹³Ù Lance Middle School, 4515 80th St., Kenosha.

Every three years, Lance Middle School hosts a walk-a-thon to support a charitable organization selected through a student-led process. Students research potential charities, create and deliver presentations, and participate in a school-wide vote to determine the recipient of the fundraiser.

This year, students selected Make-A-Wish as the beneficiary of the event. Through the combined efforts of students, staff, families and community supporters, the school has raised $46,933 to help grant wishes for children facing critical illnesses.

The fundraiser highlights Lance Middle School’s commitment to student leadership, civic engagement and service to others. Staff and students extend their gratitude to everyone who contributed to the campaign and helped make this year’s fundraising efforts a success.

Completing registration early ensures students are properly enrolled, assigned to schools, and ready for a successful start to the school year.

📄 What You’ll Need to Register

Before you begin, please gather the following items. Having these ready will make registration quick and stress‑free.

  • A valid email address
  • Emergency contact information
  • Your child’s birth certificate or passport
  • Immunization records
  • Parent/guardian photo ID
  • Proof of residency documents (see details below)
  • Health information (allergies, medications, medical conditions)
  • Payment method for school fees (after registration)

🫠Submitting Documents

Bring your documents to any KUSD school office, regardless of which school your child will attend.

School staff will review your information and let you know if anything else is needed.

💳 Fees and Additional Information

School fees can be paid online through the after Aug. 10, 2026.

If your family qualifies, you may apply for Free or Reduced Lunch, which may reduce or waive some fees.
